My take on the beloved “Shepherd’s Psalm” (Psalm 23) is a simple, straightforward tune that’s meant to suggest a melody from, perhaps, “Southern Harmony” or “The Sacred Harp.” This piece can be performed as a soprano/alto duet or by a 2-part treble choir.
